Newsboys

Newsboys (sometimes stylised as newsboys) is a Christian rock band originally from Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, and now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since its founding in 1985 by Peter Furler and George Perdikis, the band has released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold. As of 2025, the band consists of lead guitarist Jody Davis, keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein, drummer Duncan Phillips, and rhythm guitarist, bassist, and lead vocalist Adam Agee; no founding members are featured in the lineup. In addition to performing music, the band has appeared in the films God's Not Dead, God's Not Dead 2, and God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness. In June 2025, following allegations of sexual assault made against Michael Tait, many radio stations removed from rotation DC Talk and Newsboys (with whom Tait was the lead singer from 2009 to 2025).
